We're a small non-profit that teaches kids how to build gardens, grow lettuce, make their own lip balm, film documentaries, cook healthy food- and much more! Check out our website- https://www.leaveitbetter.org/
We're experiencing growth this school year and are looking for educators to join our team. We have schools in Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan and The Bronx and prefer educators based in those bureaus to teach at schools nearby. We teach during the school day at some of our schools, and after school, at others. The days and hours vary at each school.
We pay $300 per day (typically 4 class periods of instruction) for experienced lead educators, and $250 per day for supporting educators. Each lead educator is at each school for a minimum of 5 days ($1500). There is the potential for people to teach at mulitple schools.
