Job Title: Personal Support Worker for Young Adult with Autism
Location: Yonkers
Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Starting Pay: $20 per hour, negotiable based on experience
Requirements:
Valid and working Social Security Number
Previous experience working with individuals with autism is a plus
Strong communication skills and a patient, caring demeanor
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with daily homework and academic tasks
Provide guidance and support with personal grooming and hygiene routines
Teach new skills and strategies for improving independence
Work to enhance verbal communication and social interaction
Support and encourage participation in various activities
