Position: Specialty Teacher (Performing Arts)

About the Role: We are excited to invite a dynamic Specialty Teacher in Performing Arts to join our after-school program! This role offers an opportunity to inspire and cultivate young talent through engaging and innovative performing arts instruction.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development: Design and deliver a captivating, age-appropriate curriculum in various performing arts disciplines, including acting, singing, dancing, and improvisation.
Instruction: Teach and guide students in their chosen performing arts field, fostering their creativity and self-expression through interactive and hands-on activities.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Creative Director to incorporate performing arts elements into productions and shows.
Event Management: Plan, organize, and oversee student performances, showcases, and other events to highlight and celebrate their achievements.
Student Development: Monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to aid their growth and development.
Learning Environment: Create and maintain a safe, inclusive space that encourages artistic exploration and personal expression.
Education: Associate's degree or higher preferred.
Specialization: Background in a broad range of performing arts disciplines.
Experience: Minimum of one year teaching performing arts to diverse age groups and skill levels.
Expertise: Strong passion for performing arts education with knowledge of current trends and best practices.
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
