Estimator / PM (Queens)

Restoration & Remediation company looking for a competent/diligent estimator to prepare accurate estimates for Restoration projects that include: Fire-proofing, Mechanical insulation and Environmental remediation.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Analyze blueprints and written specifications for pricing of, and bidding on project.
Understanding the project and it’s requirements.
Be able to review and perform full breakdowns of construction drawings, specifications and bid forms.
Determine key variables for cost and other factors.
Conduct research to obtain data on labor costs, materials, production times etc.
Perform risk analysis.
Create and submit estimate reports or bids to appropriate persons.
Requirements:
Proven experience/schooling as estimator.
Familiarity with financial and project management principles.
Knowledge of research and data analysis methods and estimation formulas.
Proficient in relevant software (Xactimate)
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Must have excellent organizational skills as well as thoroughness and reliability.
