Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Associate to be a part of our team in the Cosmetics industry based in New York. The role involves managing and processing accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers, and requires strong analytical skills. This role is not temporary, contract, or full-time.Responsibilities: Managing and processing all aspects of accounts payable to ensure accurate and timely payments to vendors and suppliers. Reviewing, verifying, and processing invoices for payment in adherence to company policies and procedures. Preparing and executing payments to vendors and suppliers, including checks, ACH transfers, and electronic payments. Reconciling accounts payable transactions and maintaining accurate records of all payments and expenditures. Communicating with vendors and suppliers regarding payment inquiries, discrepancies, and account status. Assisting in the preparation and submission of expense reports and ensuring compliance with company policies. Maintaining and organizing financial documents, including invoices, receipts, and payment confirmations. Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and financial reporting. Ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and relevant regulations. Utilizing skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Runs, Coding Invoices, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required Experience with QuickBooks is highly preferred Demonstrated skills in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP) Familiarity with Check Runs and Coding Invoices Strong Data Entry skills, specifically in Invoice Processing Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent written and verbal communication skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred Must be legally authorized to work in the country where this job is located Must be able to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive informationRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
