Position SummaryAs part of the Annual Giving team and in partnership with the Prospect Management team, this position will implement effective prospect management strategies to support the fundraising goals of Leadership Annual Giving as well as develop data-driven recommendations for team success. The incumbent will maintain properly-sized portfolios for the Director of Development. In addition, the role will create, monitor and help maintain portfolios for Leadership Annual Giving Officers while managing pipeline recommendations to MGOs and other centralized UDAR resources such as CFR and Gift Planning. The Assistant Director will maintain the Director and LAGO team prospect pool and help prioritize prospects while systematically monitoring for moves management. This position will also be responsible for the strategic analysis of fundraising data in support of data informed decision making across the team including, but not limited to: developing, distributing, maintaining, and optimizing predictive scoring and modeling for more efficient fundraising outreach, partnering with Fundraising Analytics to develop pipeline prospect modeling, analyzing and updating existing data reports, and partnering with UDAR IT – as well as external data vendors - to oversee data processes that effect the entire Annual Giving team.QualificationsRequired Education:Bachelor's DegreePreferred Education:Advanced DegreeRequired Experience:3+ years years related experience in nonprofit fundraising, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Comparable experience in a for-profit environment will be consideredPreferred Experience:Using business intelligence tools such as SPSS, SAS, R, and Tableau; SQL experience helpfulRequired Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Experience in complex nonprofit environment. Understanding of fundraising and nonprofits. Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel. Mastery of relational databases. Preferred candidates have an understanding of the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement (APRA) skill setsPreferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Strategic, creative thinker with excellent prioritization and multi-tasking skills.
