Job DescriptionPayment & Audit Associate II Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Join our team as an integral member of the Physician Billing Department, the will perform a variety of physician billing support functions. This includes solving account discrepancies, interpreting data, discerning trends, and determining the appropriate course of action. Role Overview:

Investigate and resolve any patient account discrepancies as needed in accordance with departmental adjustments policies and procedures.

Resolves credit balances on patients’ accounts within established timeframes.

Enters on line adjustments e.g. discounts, payments, allowances, charge reversals/reposts) per policies and procedures.

Reviews and responds/resolves refund request letters from payers.

Performs charge correction requests as per departmental guidelines

Key Qualifications:

Third party insurance experience preferred

Ability to perform with a high standard of accuracy

Ability to work independently and capable of making decisions

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Core Skills:

Have the ability to organize, analyze, and effectively resolve accounts within established timeframes

Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent time management and punctuality

Flexible to work independently or in a collaborative environment

Additional Information:

Location: Hybrid, 1 - 9 times a year at 633 3rd Avenue

Schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday: Flexible during core business hours

Reporting To: Supervisor, Revenue Cycle

Pay Range: $23.03-$34.67
