Description Our client is looking for a temporary Billing Clerk to join their team. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of ethical conduct, and exceptional numerical efficiency.Responsibilities:
Issue invoices to customers based on the services rendered and construction work completed.
Ensure all billing information is accurately and timely entered into the system.
Assist in managing the customer’s accounts and follow up on outstanding payments.
Prepare and submit financial statements to the financial department.
Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to billing and invoicing.
Liaise with other departments and customers to ensure that all billing information is up-to-date.
Conduct audits to ensure all billing procedures adhere to company and legal regulations.
Perform data entry tasks, like updating customer information or processing new orders.
Participate in financial team meetings and propose improvements to the billing process.
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role preferably in a construction environment.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel, and previous experience with accounting software.
Excellent attention to detail, with strong analytical and numerical skill.
Outstanding organisational and multitasking abilities.
Demonstrated high levels of integrity and professional ethics.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
