The Role As a Structural Bridge Engineer in the New York, NY office and a core member of our Transportation Practice, you will be involved in all phases of bridge rehabilitation and design projects including planning, scheduling, inspection, analysis, design, cost estimating, technical specifications, and reports. You will work with a team of multi-disciplinary engineers while providing technical guidance to CADD personnel. We will help you achieve your goals through continuous professional development and career progression. Responsibilities Your day-to-day will have you working on designing projects or components of projects from conception through construction.Your daily tasks will have you conducting analyses, developing calculations, interpreting data, recognizing problems, and finding solutions.You will be guided by corporate quality control standards within your discipline. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Master's degree preferred.EIT License in NY0+ years of experience in structural engineering for infrastructure.Experience with NYSDOT, NYCDOT, PANYNJ, MTA (B&T, NYCT, MNR, LIRR).Knowledge of AASHTO design methods, standards, and specifications.Familiarity with AutoCAD and MicroStation.Load ratings and bridge inspection is a plus.CompensationThe rate for this position generally is$79,000-$82,000annually.This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the New York Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful New York applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in New York or perform the position from New York. Similar positions located outside of New York will not necessarily receive the same compensation.Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted byNew YorkEqual Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employee already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law. A potential new employee's pay history will not be used in compensation decisions.
