Job DescriptionThe Budget Associate in the Clinical Research (CR) Finance Unit is responsible for centralized data entry for pre-award and post-award financials into the MSK Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS). This position plays a central role in the CR Finance unit and will work closely with the Budget Team and Revenue Management to ensure data is entered timely, accurately, and in accordance with CR Finance guidelines and in alignment with MSK compliance policies. You Will:

Perform routine detailed-oriented data entry tasks with significant financial impact

Perform data entry for trials supported by industry, federal, external not-for-profit, and internal funding sources

Review, monitor and update financial details for all clinical trials

Input and update data into spreadsheets and databases as the need arises

Follow up and coordinate with CR Finance Managers, Budget Analysts, and Revenue Management Specialists

Assist with preparation of budget related documents and financial analyses

Liaise with Clinical Research Administration (CRA) staff including CR Operations, Protocol Activation Core (PAC), and Clinical Research Information Technology (CRIT)

You Have:

Bachelor's degree (Business, Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Admin) or equivalent experience required

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Must have excellent interpersonal and analytical skills

Intermediate database and financial analysis skills needed to ensure comprehensive management of financial activity

Experience with complex databases preferred

Microsoft office proficiency

Experience and knowledge of clinical research desirable

Location: Fully Remote
