Columbia University’s Summer Program for High School Students is seeking MBA degree holders (or equivalent) to develop and teach intensive three- and one-week online courses for academically exceptional high school students.
Responsibilities:
Develop course content, syllabus, lesson plan, and assigned work (past syllabi will be available)
Lead all class sessions (two hours every morning and afternoon for either 14 or 5 days).
Establish and maintain a dynamic in-class environment.
Evaluate student work and write a holistic evaluation of each participant after the course ends.
Monitor and address student concerns and inquiries (you will have around 20-24 students).
MBA degree or equivalent professional or academic background.
Expertise in the pertinent subject matter.
Aptitude for teaching.
