PURPOSE:Coordinate with Claim Administrators to take ownership of VCF accounts which have received an initial VCF Award and evaluate opportunities to seek additional compensation via amendment. The Amendment specialist will communicate with clients to assess if clients have valid amendments. The Amendment Specialist will provide guidance to clients to assist them in obtaining the necessary documents to ensure expedient and successful processing of VCF amendments.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1- Take ownership of client accounts after the attorney evaluation of an initial VCF award.2- Be the main point of contact for the client; contact third party organizations as needed to gather all necessary documentation for each VCF amendment.3- Mail and process documents to the client, third parties, the VCF, and the WTCHP.4- Coordinate with attorneys to obtain records to pursue amendments discussed during attorney award review calls.5- Field calls from previously compensated VCF clients to establish potential amendments for additional compensation.6- Proactively evaluate accounts to assess opportunities to pursue amendments.7- Log communications, documents, and claim submissions to client Salesforce accounts.8- Write cover letters which speak to severity of clients 9/11 illness(es) to ensure the success of the amendment.9- Perform additional duties as required.JOB REQUIREMENTS:
