Join us!Bank of America is looking for a content strategist to serve as a lead within the Content Center of Excellence, serving as the key strategic advisor for key lines of business and helping drive innovation in the company’s approach to content marketing. This person should be a passionate digital evangelist with deep experience in defining content strategy based on partner business objectives and in delivering best in class innovative content.

Serve as the lead strategist supporting specific line(s) of business in their content marketing efforts, partnering closely to develop a deep understanding of business objectives and translate that into content strategy

Lead a group of editors and video producers, providing oversight, coaching and mentoring in service of the delivery of best in class content programming

Stay on the cutting edge of emerging content trends and constantly seek new ways to bring that forward in their work, up-leveling the efforts of the Content Center of Excellence by example

Develop strong internal relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, diving in to become a true expert in partner plans and priorities and cascade that information across the Content Center of Excellence to drive creative strategy

Leverage data and insights to take a customer-first approach to content marketing efforts, leaning on performance metrics to inform strategy and setting clear performance metrics and goals

Develop content distribution strategies for all content develop at the outset of content development, ensuring content is tailored for specific distribution channels from brief to delivery (social media, email, etc.)

Required Skills:

15+ years of experience in content marketing, media, social media, editorial or related field

5+ years of experience leading multichannel content creation and distribution strategies for large-scale brands

5+ years of experience in people leadership

Deep knowledge of content marketing trends and avid consumer of digital and social media content

Extensive hands-on experience developing articles, videos and social media content

Success delivering content programs in a highly regulated industry in consideration of legal, regulatory and compliance requirements

Excellent communication skills and ability to navigate a matrixed organization to drive collaboration
