The publisher of a best-selling series of indie action/thriller comics (think James Bond, Mission Impossible, Kill Bill) is looking for a beautiful female model to pose for a photo cover for its upcoming 2026 summer series, cosplaying as the main character, a charismatic, capable, strong, sexy female lead. The photo shoot will take 2-4 hours (you'll receive $200/hour) at a studio in Manhattan and we'll shoot several looks in that time, posing you with different props (martini glass, mysterious attache case, prop weapons, etc.). Our favorite photo from the session will appear as a photo cover (one of a number of variant covers for Issue #1 of the series) and the model will participate alongside the creator/author of the series at an in-person signing for fans in June at a major comic book store in Manhattan (you'll receive the same $200/hour rate for time spent at the signing).
The main character in the comic is 5'2", busty, with medium-long dark hair but we are flexible in terms of physical appearance for models appearing on the cover.
We are also putting out the word on a modeling site that has served us well in the past, but over the years we've discovered some of our best models here on CL, sowe're giving it a shot here too. Please let us know if you have any questions or would like to see samples of past photo covers we've done. And if you'd like to be considered for the gig, please include one or more recent photos of yourself, as well as a brief note listing any relevant experience you've had (modeling, cosplay, or otherwise).
To state what really ought to go without saying but doesn't always (especially when it comes to posts on CL), this is a strictly professional photoshoot, at all times polite, respectful and appropriate; you are welcome to bring a chaperone if you want. Our only goal is to collaborate with a talented, enthusiastic model to create a gorgeous, tantalizing cover that will knock the readers' socks off. If we achieve that together, it'll be a day well spent. :)
