Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience translating customers data center transformation requirements, creating associated cost models and associated proposal documentation, quantifying savings, and assisting in contract negotiations.
Experience with foundational cloud technologies and managed service provider ecosystems and business models.
Experience in Infrastructure Consulting, Data Center consolidation and migration.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree.
10 years of experience in a high-performance partner or channel manager position.
Experience selling data center transformation agreements from the engineering level through the CxO level.
Experience presenting to senior-level audience and working in and through a cross-functional organization.
Industry knowledge of System Integrators (SIs)/Service Providers (SPs), Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), and the cloud ecosystem.
Excellent Partner Development and management skills.
As the Data Center Transformation Lead, you'll be responsible for the growth of our data center transformation delivery capabilities and service offerings for Google’s largest customers. You will lead the strategy for a customer’s Data Center Transformation by analyzing the current as-is environment and enabling the paths to the to-be environment. There will be a focus on assessing the current maturity of the customers Development Operations(DevOps) culture and enabling and implementing a Dev/Ops transformation with the customer . You will use your knowledge of the Partner ecosystem and the different Managed Service Providers (MSP) partners who specialize in data center transformation to jointly scope workloads and generate proposals. You will develop close relationships with these MSP’s in order to grow the relevance and impact of Google’s transformation team with the overall goal of growing our mutual Google Cloud Business.Your responsibilities will include migration risk assessments, determining the workload roadmap to GCP, and to provide guidance on developing the business case for the customer. Scope, analyze and define user requirements for a data center transformation project.
Turn customer requirements into an actionable Request For Proposal (RFP). Collaborate with a Partner to create the financial business case quantifying the savings with the aim of moving to Google Cloud.
Drive quarterly business reviews with key service partners and Google leadership.
Drive partners to build a partner sourced data center transformation pipeline, nominate partners to receive inbound/outbound leads, and ensure overall pipeline tracking accuracy and health.
Advocate for work to be routed to partners during PSO's opportunity qualifications and general oversight in subcontracted engagements.
