Description We are in search of a skilled Data Entry Clerk to be based in New York, New York, United States. The selected candidate will join our team and take responsibility for a range of tasks including data reporting, data entry, payroll reconciliation, and operational auditing. This position is an integral part of our team, requiring strong Microsoft Excel skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work within a professional business environment. This opportunity offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Assist the Human Resources department with data-related tasks Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting Extract and compile data reports as required Enter data accurately ensuring high levels of detail and consistency Reconcile payroll and other data to ensure accuracy and completeness Perform operational audits to ensure compliance and accuracy Resolve any data discrepancies or issues in a timely manner Maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to the business professional dress code Strictly adhere to the working hours of 9-5pm Perform all tasks onsite as this position does not offer remote working options. Requirements Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data reporting tools. Experience with audit operations and audit activities is essential. Knowledge of payroll processes and the ability to reconcile payroll. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to handle pressure. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion is necessary. High school diploma or equivalent education level is required. Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous. Familiarity with standard office equipment and procedures. Ability to meet deadlines and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
