DESKTOP SUPPORT SPECIALIST One of our financial clients is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist at their headquarters in New York City. This person will be a full-time permanent employee that is expected to be in the office 3 to 4 days per week. Only send your resume to us if you can work in the office 3-4 days per week. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide technical assistance to computer system users. Answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients in person, via phone, or remotely to the user's computer. May provide assistance concerning the use of the computer hardware and software, including printing and installation. Provide customer service to a large end-user base onsite Maintain and support desktop PCs and laptops, hardware, software, operating system, and printers. Basic Networking and Connectivity troubleshooting Relocate computers between offices Identify, test, and install new network systems or upgrades to current systems, printers, software, or components Creating problem records Follow defined escalation paths Oversee the daily performance of computer systems QUALIFICATIONS: At least 2 years of providing desktop support in a corporate environment Microsoft Certification desired or technical school equivalent. Experience with the following applications: MS Office Suite, Anti-Virus Adobe software Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide customer service to a large end-user base onsite Respond to telephone calls, emails, and personnel requests for technical support.
