MDMS is recruiting for a Disaster Recovery Manager for a bank in the NY/NJ area. You will coordinate and drive all disaster recovery operations across the bank, it's data centers, and its branches. You will be responsible for all planning, testing, and documentation to ensure that the bank has a robust disaster recovery strategy. Please note that this is a hybrid role and will require 3 days of on-site work per week.
Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the disaster recovery program (planning and testing), and work cross-functionally with business and tech teams to drive these projects forward.
• Develop DR testing guidelines in accordance with the bank's policy, procedures, and regulations.
• Work with vendors and tech teams on DR testing.
• Analyze disaster recovery test results.
• Develop and communicate DR recommendations to key stakeholders.
• Implement improvements to the bank's DR plans, testing efforts, practices, and processes.
• Ensure testing documentation is completed/reviewed and available for review by management, auditors, and regulators.
• Participate in Change Management meetings.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity/Business Resiliency.
• Experience in disaster recovery planning, testing, coordination, and documentation.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, servers, storage, backup, etc.
• Strong knowledge of technology disaster recovery tools/technologies, best practices, and methodologies.
• Strong communication skills (presentation, verbal, written).
• Experience in project management, task development, planning, execution, implementation, group facilitation and training.
• Experience working cross-functionally with different IT teams & business units, internal & external auditors, and vendors.
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
• Certifications are a big plus: ITIL, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Certified Business Resilience IT Professional (CBRITP), Certified Business Resilience Manager, IT Disaster Recovery Planning (IT DRP), EC-Council Disaster Recovery Professional (EDRP), Certified Disaster Recovery Engineer (CDRE), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Project Management Professional (PMP).

Salary Band: $140,000-180,000
