Rotational Program - TechnologyThe Tech Associate assists with recurring tasks across multiple areas of an organization's overall information technology (IT) infrastructure including analysis, development, and administration of IT systems software, hardware and databases, data processing operations, end user technology. This job gains experience and an overall feel for the company and the financial services industry by attending meetings, delivering presentations, and exploring business-specific tasks to better understand the organization. This job participates in a robust training and onboarding program followed by an ongoing speaker series, lunch-and-learns, and cohort engagement activities.Key Responsibilities and Duties

Handles information technology support requests and procedures across the enterprise network in an efficient and timely manner.

Assists with the configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of software applications to ensure the smooth running of information technology operations.

Performs clerical duties such as organizing documents, maintaining files, photocopying, and faxing.

Assists in preparing information and research materials, including Powerpoint presentations.

Takes notes during meetings and provides to team members.

Researches and gathers documentation as directed by colleagues.

Attends company functions, including trainings programs, speaker series, lunch-and-learns and social networking events that provide opportunities for career growth and personal development.

Career Level5ICPOSITION SUMMARY:The Nuveen Operations associate assists with routine administrative, oversight and transactional operational processes, requirements gathering & documentation, oversight & controls, business performance measurement, process management, and data analysis from various sources within middle office operations to support the investment and client life cycle for the asset management business.The program consists of (3) 8-month rotations totally 2 years and provides opportunities for hand-on experiences, skills training and valuable professional networking. The first focus will be on gaining the fundamentals and asset management business acumen while having opportunities to explore various tools, techniques, and disciplines within Nuveen Operations. The program includes an onboarding week followed by ongoing development and engagement activities, networking, access to mentors, current and former early career associates.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Assist in routine tasks or processes with accuracy such as verifying transaction details, reconciliating information, and resolving basic discrepancies.

Input data into systems and validate data accuracy against sources to maintain accurate data within operations and assist with compiling and distributing reporting.

Document & maintain updated standard operating processes and procedures

Research operational issues and assist in recovery and resolution

Assists operations analysts and managers with routine tasks or processes with accuracy such as verifying transaction details, reconciliating information, and resolving basic discrepancies.

Build, cultivate and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and partner with team to provide high client service and solutions.

Contributes to and support special ad hoc & strategic projects as they arise within functional operations area

QUALIFICATIONS:Required Skills:

Must have graduated with a Bachelor's degree or higher prior to the program's start date (June 2025).

Participation in TIAA’s Summer Associate Internship Program preferred.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook)

Anticipated Posting End Date:2024-10-16Base Pay Range: $71,000/yr. - $73,000/yr.Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
