Support the creation of an Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid based project plan
Understand the chosen approach, business solution, and delivery model selected in order to service client needs
Knowledge of the general Kick-off process and steps of doneness
Set up collaboration locations for the project team in Box, MS Teams, JIRA, and Confluence
Clarify the scope boundary using the most simple terms and concepts possible
Understanding of different templates like scope matrix/back log or other documentation used to articulate scope at the right level of granularity
Understand project scope and transform into an executable plan for a small size, non-complex project
Help to manage Estimation concepts, approach, and review process
Monitoring & ControllingGeneral Management
Run a small to medium project or track of work, plan, organize, and control the activities of other Razorfish disciplines with delivery oversight
Help to reconcile a project plan if broken assumptions, missed dependencies or risk is presented
Establish progress tracking process, and reconcile progress against the plan, monitor project scope and the change control process to ensure that tasks are completed according to schedule and within budget, raise issues to more senior delivery team members for guidance
Knowledge of standard deliverables and ability to participate in regular reviews of project deliverables with key team members/Client
Communication & Consulting
Effectively communicate non-ambiguous events (e.g. Status of work)
Tailor communication style to internal or external audience
Knowledge of basic types of meetings to be facilitated in a project environment/life cycle, e.g.: or Project Kick-off or Daily stand-ups or Brainstorming or Client status and reviews or Difficult conversations or Decision-making or Post-mortem;
Prepare for a facilitated meeting including: Define the meeting, Purpose, Objectives, Agenda, Owners or Define the meeting format (e.g. in person vs. call) or Participant identification (the right set of attendees) and scheduling or Length of meeting or Setting expectations with all attendees;
Knowledge of and ability to use basic facilitation tools, such as: or White boarding or ‘Parking Lot’ or Feedback or Visible agenda;
Ability to hold others accountable for meeting workplace expectations for ‘organization’
Team Leadership
Ability to engage the team in a collaborative manner
Strong team player, ability to assist with facilitating teams
Ensures that ground level team communication happens and help to facilitate feedback within a team
Deal with staffing challenges with help
Recognize that conflict is occurring and bring to leaderships attention
Relationship Management
Work with day-to-day client contacts to establish and articulate project tracking and administrative processes;
Knowledge of the importance of defining a structured process for engaging with Clients and Stakeholders
Knowledge of identifying Stakeholders, including managing and classifying Stakeholders by their power and interest
Knowledge of the escalation hierarchy
Ability to re-negotiate expectations when they are misaligned
If expectations cannot be met, work with Client or Stakeholder to work toward a solution, including partial solutions
Qualifications
3+ years experience managing projects
Ability to understand project scope and transform it into an executable plan; Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid with guidance of supporting delivery lead
Ability to reconcile progress against the plan with progress against the budget
Knowledge of how to manage and report on project-related risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies
Ability to deal with staffing challenges with some support
Understands the importance of managing client expectations and has the ability to manage day-to-day communications with project teams and clients
Experience with at least 2 project planning tools, (e.g. Microsoft Project, Excel, Smartsheets)

This role may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met.
