Job DescriptionDay to DayInsight Global is seeking out a mid level Full Stack Engineer to sit hybrid in New York City 3 days a week on site for a large streaming service. This person will be joining a globally leading Media Streaming organization. As a Full Stack Engineer/Software Engineer for this team, this person will be using in-house and third-party tools, building and supporting the live and linear pipeline for streaming video, optimizing video encoding, packaging, and delivery. The team will be providing support for live events and other linear channels, specifically supporting the editorial team with video uploads. Experience with programming languages, specifically writing code in Go. Understanding of SDLC Experience with digital video workflow/operations, and digital video technology development. Understanding of playback protocols (DASH, CMAF/HLS). Technical experience with cloud based technologies (AWS). Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, etc. Plusses Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and large scale deployment. Understanding of containerization as it relates to Cloud (Kubernetes, Docker).
