We are a busy and reputable dog walking company in search of committed, reliable dog lovers to join our team full time. This is a Monday-Friday position, and open availability between the hours of 9 a.m.- 6 p.m. is required. This is ideal for musicians, comedians, writers, or anyone who needs a consistent daytime schedule with evenings and weekends free. We operate on the Upper East and Upper West Sides of Manhattan. Please be flexible to working in either location.
About you:
-You are looking to commit long-term for at least a year, ideally more.
-You love dogs. While professional dog-walking experience is not a requirement (though a big plus), a love and passion for dogs and a desire to learn more about them and their behavior IS.
-You are a team player who is adaptable to last-minute change.
-You are open to working outside in all elements and understand that you will be walking for 6-8 hours a day. This is a very physically demanding job.
Pay starts at $18.00/hour. You can earn raises with outstanding performance in as little as 6 months. There are opportunities to pick up overnight dog sitting for additional income if desired, but this is not a requirement.
