Job Title: Head of FinanceJob Description-This is a full time position with full benefits. Please only apply if seeking long-term employment. This is not a short term contract.Key Responsibilities: End-to-end responsibility for bringing the finance function inhouse from an external fractional CFO Maintain precise financial records and accounting for all company transactions. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and payment of invoices. Responsibility over the month-end close process, including ensuring the completion of the general ledger and Balance Sheet reconciliations and production of all financial statements and reports. Ownership of the annual Budgeting process as well as the half-year reforecast. Conduct monthly variance analysis vs budgets and forecasts, highlighting insights and variances. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings, including management of sales tax obligations across multiple jurisdictions. Coordinate with external auditors and tax firms, providing needed information for the annual audit. Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.Hard Skills
Financial management experience within a fast-paced environment
Experience running a month-end close process
Financial modelling/budgeting experience
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, laws, and regulations
Professional finance qualification (CPA preferred)
A Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience
Start-up or scale-up experience is desirable
Financial Services experience is desirable
Soft Skills
Effective communication skills, with proficiency in English
