Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst in the Media industry, based in New York, New York. The role involves providing technical support to national and international users in various areas such as software, hardware, network problem resolution, and desktop support. The Help Desk Analyst will be instrumental in ensuring smooth operations and effective problem resolution in a call center environment.Responsibilities: Provide first-level support to PC/MAC end users, ensuring efficient resolution of all queries and issues. Guide users through step-by-step solutions in a call center environment to troubleshoot technical issues. Escalate complex issues to Desktop Technicians or Network Engineers as necessary. Maintain a cooperative working relationship with all users and demonstrate sensitivity to a diverse user population. Support the processing of customer credit applications and maintain accurate customer credit records. Provide support for publishing and other business-specific systems. Leverage skills in Active Directory, Deskside Support, and Consumer Electronics to provide effective customer support. Utilize knowledge of Adobe products like InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat for problem resolution. Handle troubleshooting of printing issues and manage font management software UTC. Demonstrate exceptional oral and written communication skills in all interactions. Stay updated with new computer technology to deliver effective support. Requirements Proven experience in a help desk analyst role within the media industry Exceptional ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues Experience in call center customer service Proficient in Active Directory and Deskside Support Knowledge of consumer electronics and printing Strong customer support skills Proficient in Windows OS, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Photoshop Experience with desktop hardware and application development Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Computer Hardware, and Peripheral Equipment Familiarity with PC OS and Voice technologies Proven problem resolution skills Experience with Mac computers and system administration Knowledge of printer hardware Excellent written communication skills Proficiency in Mac OS.
