This position will work with defined contribution plans, defined benefit plans and health and welfare plans, and beresponsiblefor benefits administration. This position reports to the Corporate Vice President of HR Benefits Operations.Responsibilities:Handle administration for the 401(k) Savings Plans and Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation plans, including:
Ensure the timely processing and accuracy of interfaces from Alight and Empower
Reconciliation of 401K contributions for employees and agents
Coordination of pension indicator and W2 file review
Coordination between Alight, Mackay and Agency for annual payroll calendars
Process adjustments in appropriate systems (ECP, Ledger adjustments)
Respond to Workflows (Alight), Dovetail tickets, emails, and phone calls timely and within our SLA standards
Testing for Annual Enrollment, Your Benefits Resources updates, Your Total Rewards updates, New Wage Types, Plan Limits and incentive cycle testing
Testing for 401K Plan Limits and incentive cycle testing
Testing for FSA limits
Process Power of Attorney
Own the process to ensure deceased participant data is appropriately updated andcommunicatedfor the Nylic News and Nylic Review
Work with HR partners to update participants records for adjusted dates of hire
Research and pull together background on escalated cases and put forth recommendations
Acquire knowledge of DC, DB and H&W plans for employees, agents and retirees
Assist on special projects and handle additional assignments as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelors' Degree plus 2 -3 years’ experience in HR preferred
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
Stronganalyticalskillsincluding Excel (Vlookups, pivot tables, spreadsheet compares, text to spreadsheet conversion, formulas)
Excellent verbal and written communications – position requires daily communications with participants including agents, employees, retirees, as well as vendors and HR partners
Strong organizationskills, attention to detail, time management and sense of urgency
