Vee Healthtek is one of the fastest growing companies in America offering outsourced services to Fortune 500 and mid-sized companies.We are growing and need to hire a HR Generalist to support the business. Job Summary: The HR Generalist is responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, on-boarding, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws. This role requires a proactive approach to developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company’s goals and foster a positive work environment. Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

Assists with the recruitment process, including onboarding, entering drug screens and background checks.

Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications.

Conduct new employee orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process.

Performance Management:

Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems.

Support managers in setting performance goals and development plans.

Compensation and Benefits:

Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.

Assist employees with benefits inquiries and claims.

Training and Development:

Identify training needs and coordinate training sessions and programs.

Support career development initiatives and succession planning.

Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements.

Compliance and Record-Keeping:

Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including EEO, ADA, FMLA, etc.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.

Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies.

HR Policies and Procedures:

Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures.

Ensure employees understand and adhere to company policies.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Safety and Health:

Promote workplace safety and health initiatives.

Manage workers' compensation claims and return-to-work programs.

HR Projects and Initiatives:

Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support company goals.

Contribute to diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in HR roles, preferably as an HR Generalist.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong knowledge of HR practices and labor laws.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.

Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Adaptability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

This is an office-based position or can be remote (1-2 days/week) with occasional travel to company locations.

Flexibility to work extended hours as needed.
