Description We are in search of a Legal Billing Administrator based in New York, New York. In this role, you will be tasked with the preparation and distribution of invoices, maintenance of client and attorney records, and providing assistance with billing requests. This role will require you to work closely with our billing and accounts receivable teams, and will also involve tasks related to client auditing and account maintenance.Responsibilities: Prepare, finalize and distribute invoices for assigned accounts Coordinate special client billing requests with the Billing Manager Maintain client and attorney records and update billing addresses and payer information as necessary Assist in preparing client and attorney analyses as needed Coordinate with the Billing Compliance team to maintain client/matter maintenance information Address revised invoice balances as client issues arise and prepare audit reports Collaboratively work with collection coordinators on accounts receivable issues Assist with the preparation of more complicated bills as needed Monitor and follow-up on unallocated funds Respond to Client Accounting emails and calls promptly and professionally Assist with billing overflow from other offices as required. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience with ADP - Financial Services Knowledge of Computerized Billing Familiarity with EHR SYSTEM Proficiency in Epic Software Experience with About Time software Ability to perform Accounting Functions Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Comfortable Answering Inbound Calls Legal Billing Administration experience is a plus.
