Our Valuation Services prepares objective valuations for financial reporting, tax and management planning purposes. RESPONSIBILITIES: The Managing Director will be responsible for providing a range of valuation advisory services including business enterprise valuations, purchase price allocations, intellectual property valuations, stock option valuations, reviewing values of hedge funds and private equity interests, and dispute consulting. Managing client relationships; identifying and developing opportunities to enhance relationships with existing clients/contacts and new potential business (existing services or identifying and/or developing potential new services/products) Working with management to build and maintain client relationships Interviewing clients, including face-to-face meetings, to gather data and information pertinent to the engagement Providing insight and expertise on target industries, market and competitor information Managing valuation analysis, including determining appropriate valuation methodology and building and reviewing financial models Reporting and presenting analyses and conclusions including written reports Attending relevant industry events to broaden your knowledge and experience Manage and oversee an existing professional staff to perform valuation services Recruiting, training, developing and evaluating valuation professionals and administrative staff Identifying cross-marketing opportunities within and across Kroll Overall engagement responsibility for multiple engagements, as well as potentially other Kroll service offerings Demonstrating support in advancing company and practice objectives of profitability, professionalism and teamwork with colleagues and clients REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's or Master's degree, with further experience and/or qualifications in Finance, Accounting or Economics, MBA from an accredited college/university, or additional professional accreditation such as CFA or ASA Demonstrated leadership experience including managing and developing client relationships and mentoring and developing staff Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of software packages including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Excellent written and verbal communication skills that help represent diverse communities Experience working with diverse teams Minimum 15 years of working within the professional services industry, focused on reviewing valuation models and other financial models including: DCF, comparable company, stock option, and commodity contracts / forecasts, and other intangible asset models The current salary range for this position is $200, 000 to $500, 000.In order to be considered for a position, you must formally apply via careers.kroll.com.Kroll is committed to equal opportunity and diversity, and recruits people based on merit.#LI-AC1Our Valuation Services prepares objective valuations for financial reporting, tax and management planning purposes.Equal Opportunity Employer - minorities/females/veterans/individuals with disabilities/sexual orientation/gender identityMinimum Salary: 0.00
