As a global company, we have offices in nine countries and can insert advertisements around the world.Job SummaryThe Marketplace Ad Operations Associate will be a fundamental component for FreeWheel’s Markets business in North America, which enables the most premium video publishers – such as TV Programmers, MVPD’s, and major digital media publishers – to monetize their content programmatically at scale. The Marketplace Ad Operations teams focuses on several key initiatives at any given time and handles ad hoc needs from various internal groups. Several key initiatives involve but is not limited to both direct sold and programmatic campaigns. While operating on direct sold and programmatic campaigns, the day-to-day workflow will consist of the following: successful set up, trafficking, technical troubleshooting, monitoring, optimization and best practice development for all North American marketplace transactions. Additionally, this role will involve cross functional efforts working closely with the Global Client Services team, as well as other internal teams to ensure an efficient and seamless operational experience for both FreeWheel Markets buyers and sellers. Job Description

Conduct day-to-day implementation, optimization & troubleshooting across campaigns within the FreeWheel AdServer , SSP, DSP, as well as working in the OMS and ticketing systems.

QA trafficking for FreeWheel Markets and ensure that all campaign set up is completed in accordance with the proper procedures and executed accurately & efficiently.

Assist and contribute with strategic planning for how the Operations team supports the business and client service goals of the growing North American Markets organization.

Analyze, understand, create, define, document, iterate on Ad Operation processes and/or tools.

Contribute through knowledge sharing for both internal and external teams in process and platform best practices.

Communicate directly with clients as needed to support Account Management and Sales teams.

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

About You

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with 2+ years working in digital Ad Operations at either of the following: SSP, DSP, Agency Trade Desk, Ad Network, Publisher

Experience working with direct IO and programmatic advertising in digital Ad Servers and/or SSP platforms or DSP platforms ( FreeWheel platforms are a plus)

Understands both digital video standards and specifications ( i.e. VAST, OpenRTB )

Ability to regularly collaborate across functions in pursuit of joint goals and objectives

Ability to be adaptable, independent, and manage time effectively

Excellent communication skills; comfort engaging with varied audiences both written and verbally

A strong sense of ownership for problem solving

An attitude of continuous learning and investment in bettering themselves and exploring new operating concepts

A self-starting, proactive, “roll-up-the-sleeves” mentality to get the job done

Skill in building trust with teams and individuals (both local and remote) through effective interpersonal skills and action-oriented execution
