Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Network Engineer in New York. The role involves working in the IT industry, focusing on the design and implementation of security solutions, client support, and knowledge sharing. Responsibilities: Develop and implement security solutions like firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security systems tailored to meet client requirements. Configure and maintain devices and services, ensuring their optimal performance, security, and availability. Monitor security systems, identify potential threats, and respond effectively to security incidents. Provide technical support to clients, resolving issues related to products and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction. Maintain comprehensive documentation of security configurations, changes, and incidents. Generate reports on security metrics and incident responses. Conduct training sessions for clients and internal teams on products and best practices in network security. Ensure all solutions comply with industry standards and best practices, and stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and product updates. Utilize skills such as Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Cisco Routers, Cisco Technologies, AB Testing, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Datacenter, Deployments.
