Store Janitor / Cleaner – Midtown Manhattan

We’re a busy retail store in Midtown Manhattan seeking a dependable Janitor / Cleaner to keep our shop floor, fitting rooms, and back‐of-house areas spotless and inviting. If you’re detail-oriented, self-motivated, and take pride in a job well done, let’s talk.
Key Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum sales floor, fitting rooms, and stockrooms daily
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and staff areas; restock supplies
- Empty trash and recycling; dispose of packaging materials properly
- Wipe down display fixtures, glass doors, windows, and counters
- Identify and report maintenance or safety issues immediately
- Support store events setup and cleanup as needed
Requirements
- Proven janitorial or commercial cleaning experience (retail or hotel preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Physically able to lift up to 30 lbs and handle active duties throughout your shift
- Will train the right candidate
