The Business Management team acts as a trusted advisor and consultant to senior coverage executives to manage and optimize business performance. The team partners with Sales Management to drive business strategy through projects and analyses focused on drivers of efficiency and growth, such as strategic client targeting, new business origination, balance sheet optimization, cross-border expansion, product cross-sell, and coverage productivity. In addition, the team helps establish, execute, and maintain key business governance initiatives, such as new business and revenue target-setting, business reviews and management information, pipeline management and the control framework for new deal origination. The team also handles ad hoc special projects (e.g. regulatory priorities) and delivers compliance and audit support.Business Management needs highly-motivated creative thinkers who can leverage their analytical capabilities to provide strategic guidance to business partners and solve a wide variety of evolving business issues and problems.Job Responsibilities:

Support the Global Corporate Payments Sales coverage teams, as well as functional partners (e.g. cross-region, -product, and -LOB business management, Product, Controllers, Planning & Analysis, Human Resources, and Technology)

Support and drive the business strategy through proactive identification, syndication, and execution of strategic projects focused on driving commercial value (including the implementation and results tracking)

Assist with key business governance initiatives, such as client account planning and new business target-setting

Manage thorough and proactive flow of information through delivery of regular and ad hoc management reporting on key business metrics (e.g. revenue, closed new business, pipeline)

Maintain strong working knowledge of information tools and resources (e.g. TS Qliksense dashboards, Dealworks, WCP Cognos, Client Central, Coalition Wallet Analyses, SCOTs)

An associate in Business Management would be expected to:

Provide a high level of responsiveness to executive ad-hoc requests related to project management, presentation development, and business analysis

Organize complex information in a strategic and compelling way, demonstrating strong design acumen and expertise in Excel and PowerPoint techniques

Create wireframes and mock-ups quickly and iteratively for management presentations, reports, and dashboards

Communicate effectively with key business partners to understand projects and drive next steps

Project manage and deliver key work streams and tasks

Identify key business risks on the platform and drive resolution of mitigating controls

Support audit, regulatory and compliance deliverables; help drive specific action plans and deliverables within the Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) framework

Coordinate team activities and prepare materials for town halls, employee recognition, and strategy working sessions

Collect and maintain internal resources and documentation on collaboration sites such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams etc.

Participate in collaborative initiatives with team members and global managers, looking for ways to continually simplify, improve, and add value to existing business processes

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related area

Prior experience in Business Management or COO role

Proven experience delivering timely, high quality presentations and/or reporting for various projects and stakeholders. Attention to detail is a must with continuous focus on design excellence

Demonstrated ability in dealing with different stakeholder groups and driving the agenda

Excellent communication, organization and project management skills

Ability to articulate and demonstrate thoughtful rationale in design decisions

Intermediate to advanced level ability expected in all MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Pivot Tables)

Self-motivated, tenacious and able to work with high degree of independence

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Strong time management and prioritization skills
