Powered by Bloomberg's world-class pricing library, company fundamentals and market data, MARS enables front office, market/credit/counterparty risk and collateral professionals to analyze their trading and investment portfolios, handle and mitigate their exposure and ready themselves for any turn of events.We are seeking a Product Manager to join the MARS Enterprise Risk Product department as an individual contributor to drive the Credit Risk product strategy in our New York office. As part of the team, you will research, support and promote our MARS Credit Risk solution. You will play an active role in our client's experience starting from pre-sale, quality assurance, product feedback, collaborating and contributing to sales. You will need to have a strong knowledge of credit risk management solutions and its integration with the broader ecosystem in order to explain complex analytics as well as recommend best practices. You will be working closely with sales teams on running demos, conducting testing/reconciliation, managing product needs for production clients, and working on risk related projects to help improve and expand our existing risk platform.We'll trust you to:

Work with Product Manager(s) and engineering to develop plans for our solutions, including creative and effective ideas to differentiate our offering

Work collaboratively with partners including sales and implementations teams throughout the sales cycle. This includes presale demos and proposals, client training and on boarding, communication of product enhancements and identifying up sell opportunities

Handling the support of new and existing clients from a product perspective, including ensuring the risk analytics and workflows are set up to client's expectations and understanding and providing feedback on client needs, competitor intelligence and market trends

Training and point of escalation for help desk, sales, implementation for product capabilities and potential issues, and, when necessary, coordinating internally to get them addressed

You'll need to have:

7+ years of experience working in financial services, particularly in credit risk management or financial technology related to credit risk management

Demonstrable understanding of credit risk management best practices across regions

Experience working in a revolving regulatory environment and changes that impact the business and our clients (e.g. Basel III, SEC Regulation M, IFRS9)

We'd love to see:

Experience with private and public credit, working knowledge of quantitative credit risk modeling for corporates/sovereigns, portfolio credit risk, as well as understanding of end-to-end workflows

Ability to work in a challenging, complex and fast paced environment with high degree of self-motivation

Willingness to learn complex business and technology processes and actively contribute to their evolution

Detail oriented, collaborative and consensus builder

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively interact and connect with clients at all levels
