The Purchasing Clerk procures designated materials, supplies, and equipment for SUS departments and facilities at optimum quality, price, and delivery.Responsibilities:
Process requisitions for household supplies, food, medical, office, furniture, copier & printer supplies, appliances etc.
Negotiate pricing with vendors
Maintain Food Budgets on the system
Match purchase orders to invoices, collecting POD’s
Maintain Bellwether Purchasing Item Pricing Database
Troubleshoot Bellwether issues over the phone
Provide customer service to programs & vendors regarding purchasing issues
Training liaison for staff using bell Purchasing System
Maintain databse of approved agency drivers in SharePoint system
Apply for parking permits for all SUS vehicles
Three or more years experience working in similar capacity
Strong customer service focus and skills
Experienced in Microsoft Office prodicts
Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
