Description Robert Half Financial Services are hiring for a Real Estate Fund Operations Associate role within a global investment firm located in midtown Manhattan New York. Our client requires 3 to 6+ years Real Estate Fund Operations or Accounting experience within an investment firm or fund administrator. The role will support all performance and returns calculations, as well as maintaining an internal database, and all reporting for the Real Estate portfolio and some Private Equity. The role requires 4 days per week in the midtown Manhattan office and 1 day work from home.Responsibilities Analyzing and approving trade transactions into eFront and coordinating with multiple teams across the company to process. This includes, tracking, uploading, and maintaining backup documents and files. Checking breakdowns and communicating with Fund/Direct managers to record transactions accurately. Monitoring for new fund and direct investment transactions – tracking and maintaining backup documents and files, uploading new commitments to eFront. Run and update monthly activity and cash flow reports for monthly management meeting. Reviewing monthly management meeting slides for the Real Estate portfolio. Review quarterly financial and capital account statements – maintain internal quarterly valuation and IRR Reports. Analyze changes to Portfolio Company costs/values within the financial statements, and reconciling these numbers to our records. Approving valuation transactions in eFront. Monitoring for any write offs taken by the Fund managers, and booking corresponding entries in eFront to remain consistent. Research and compile history of investments/distributions to formally submit to the Director of Finance. Update and maintain investment transaction history for the Multifamily Portfolio investments. Update consolidated relationship exposure reports on an ad hoc and quarterly basis for all Real Estate investments. Provide support during the audit process (resolving issues, submitting documentation to auditors) for Real Estate and the Finance/Operations team. Support on various projects across departments and ad hoc special projects as needed.Requirements Qualifications
3 to 6+ years Real Estate Fund Operations or Accounting experience within an investment firm or fund administrator
Advanced Excel and Data manipulation skills
Knowledge of eFront software is advantageous but not required
Bachelor Degree
