Regional Retail Store Manager

DESCRIPTIONThe Regional Manager provides leadership to the region, overseeing all retail activities at multiple Google store locations. The Regional Manager reviews and analyzes sales and operational reports and uses data to collaborate with store managers to develop sales goals for each location. They monitor progress toward those goals and develop strategies to attract and retain customers. The Regional Manager will collaborate with executive leadership to identify opportunities for improvement; design and implement training, strategies, policies, goals, and other resources to maximize productivity and morale.RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyzes sales data, trend reporting and forecasting

Ensures delivery of KPIs and SLAs at each location

Oversees staffing compliance in all locations

Collaborates with Account team and Google Retail team on ideation and execution of initiatives and strategies

Supports profitability measures and drivers (overtime, hours, and expenses)

Schedules and directs regular manager meetings to share information, set and revise goals, and to increase morale

Maintains knowledge of market, competition, and best practices and trends in sales techniques and strategies.

Hires, trains, and performance manages store managers.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience

5+ years’ experience managing multiple retail locations across multiple states

Retail operations savvy w/ 10+ years’ experience in retail store operations; tech retail ideal but not required

Previous experience and working knowledge of human resource disciplines including employee relations, performance management, and federal/state respective employment laws is required

Budgeting and forecasting experience a must

Experience developing, tracking, and monitoring cross-functional processes

Project management experience ideal - multi-faceted complex modeling and process management

Previous experience with leading, managing, guiding, and developing direct manager level reports

Excellent relationship building skills; proven success in senior level relationship, building, development, and management

Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and prioritization of tasks

Professional demeanor with store managers and specialists, co-workers, and clients; the ability to handle conflict with calm demeanor and solution driven focus

Ability to lead a team in a manner that will build team morale and accomplish objectives

Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to schedule tasks and people to meet program goals

Ability to proactively determine client-based and internal needs and present solutions

Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as impeccable follow-up and organization and problem-solving skills

Excellent math skills to draft and implement budgets and conduct data analysis

Available up to 50% travel/month between regions’ store locations
