We are hiring for a project architect with the flexibility to be remote in the long run. This is a well-known architecture firm in Brooklyn, NY!Please note that this is a remote position only for candidates residing in NYC area. Hiring for a project architect with 6 years of experience in an architecture or interior design firm. The successful candidate will understand the design process through programming, interior architecture, architectural specification, documentation, FF&E specifications, and installation. The ideal candidate has a take charge attitude, is outgoing and confident, and is able to manage multiple tasks at one time.
License preferred
Priority given for experience in high-end residential architecture
Excellent design ability
Strong technical capability, including demonstrated experience with sketching, drafting, architectural detailing, coordinating, and issuing Construction Drawings and Specifications
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, Photoshop, and InDesign
Organized self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and can work on multiple projects at various stages of development
Able to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Prepare client presentations
Prepare Design Drawings and Construction Documents
Source and research architectural products, materials, and finishes
