We are seeking a dog walker Saturday's and Monday's, including some Sunday's. You must have open availability all of those three days between the hours of 9am-7pm to qualify for the position. (see below for additional qualifications) You are also responsible for CAT SITTING!
To join our team you will need to live within or near the Williamsburg or Greenpoint areas. This position is for upbeat, energetic, positive individuals who are dog and cat loving people and want to work for a stable company. You will need to love exercise as this is a rather physical job. You bike from visit to visit and are held to a tight schedule.
We add individuals to our team that are ready to work and who can commit. This is not gig work and should be considered a job you would want to commit to. Our employees love working for us and most have been with our team for years. We expect at least a 6 month commitment.
We hire people that are mature, independent thinkers who after extensive training are able to get through their daily schedules without being micro-managed all while delivering the excellent service that we are known for. You do not need to have professional dog walking experience but do need to have life experience caring for at the minimum dogs and cats although we service all types of pets.
Starting pay is $18, and $19 per hour after your first month. You also receive a paid 30 minute break when working over a 5hour shift. Visits are scheduled consecutively. You will need open availability from 9am-7pm on day you're working, however you will be working only a chunk of time between those hours. WE SPECIALIZE IN INDIVIDUAL WALKS. So this is not that group walking business model.
YOU MUST OWN AND BE COMFORTABLE RIDING A BIKE. We use bikes for transportation from visit to visit.
Pay is on the books, W4 Employee. NOT CASH PAY.
