Description We are in search of a Data Reporting Analyst to join our team located in New York. You will be a part of the Core Data & Services for the Data organization, playing a key role in establishing foundational data pipelines and datasets. This role is critical in enabling various engineering and analytical teams to unlock the power of data to drive business decisions. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Establish and manage foundational data pipelines and datasets to drive business decisions Enable engineering, analytics, and operational teams to access necessary data Ensure consistent data observability, lineage, data quality, logging, and alerting across all engineering teams Expand, scale, and standardize core foundational principles for consistent data management Utilize analytics and engineering principles to improve data quality and scalability Leverage tools such as Power BI to prepare datasets for analysis Implement stream processing techniques to manage data pipelines Foster a single pane of glass creation through effective data management Contribute to scaling efforts to meet the demands of the largest streaming service Collaborate with world-class Data Engineers to make a positive impact on the team. Requirements Must possess a strong understanding of Analytics and Engineering Principles Proficient in working with Scale Out and Power BI tools Ability to Prepare Datasets for various purposes Must ensure Data Quality and use it to drive Business Decisions Experience in Scaling and Stream Processing Should be able to build and maintain Data Pipelines Knowledge of Lineage and Coredata is essential Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven track record in delivering on complex situations or problems without guidance or supervision Advanced degree in a relevant field is preferred.
