Senior Executive Communications lead, Investment Banking

About this role:This position will design and implement an executive communication program for the leadership of Banking, one of the core businesses of the Corporate & Investment Banking division. The individual contributor in this role will work closely with the Chief of Staff, head of Strategy and Head of HR for Banking to drive employee engagement and business results. This position will have strategic oversight for media relations for Banking. The incumbent will work at 150 East 42nd Street in New York, NY and is required to be in the office 3 days a week. The Wells Fargo job profile is Senior Lead Communications Consultant .In this role, you will:

Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic counselor to the leadership team

Develop and implement an annual communications strategy to establish the head of Banking voice to their employees and to promote the business across the enterprise

Identify executive advocacy, external speaking and/or social media opportunities

Write and edit, talking points, social media submissions and content to inform target audiences

Position the leader's approach to diversity, equity and inclusion as well as key business initiatives

Work with the leader's direct reports to ensure their messaging ladders up

Design a media relations program and partner with peers on the team who support the business

Track and measure results to ensure they are in line with intended outcomes

Partner with communicators to ensure alignment of communications strategies and messaging

7+ years of Public Relations, Media Relations or Corporate Communications experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Experience developing integrated communications strategies for investment banking clients

Experience counseling executives on high profile issues and delivery of internal communications

Experience designing executive thought leadership platforms

Experience securing media opportunities with national or trade media outlets

Experience building strong relationships and collaborating across large organizations

Experience presenting information that persuades, and enhances understanding at all levels

Office Location & Pay Range:

150 East 42nd Street - New York, NY ($133,300 to $237,100)
