Senior Full Stack Developer

OverviewJob Purpose The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE) is searching for a Senior Developer to join one of our Technology teams. The Senior Developer will be responsible for the design and development of web applications that support our business's regulatory and listing technology needs. The individual will be tasked with both backend and frontend development responsibilities. On the backend, they will interact with various data sources and external systems. On the frontend, they will be expected to create intuitive and responsive user interfaces. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of full-stack development and the ability to work effectively across all layers of the application. We are seeking an individual with excellent communication and analytical skills. An individual who is eager to learn, self-motivated, not afraid to raise risks/concerns, accepts constructive criticism and is a team player but who is also comfortable working independently. Responsibilities Write efficient and maintainable code along with supporting unit tests, using best practices. Develop and maintain secure web applications using Django, Python, Typescript, React, and Ruby on Rails.Ability to deliver prototypes and wireframes to explain application concepts and workflows. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams. Participate in design and planning sessions.Contribute to team documentation. Provide software deployment and production support.Knowledge and ExperienceAbility to write clean code that is thoroughly unit tested.5+ years of professional development experience.Experience with Django, Python, Typescript, React, and Ruby on Rails.Experience writing unit and integration tests.Experience working with relational databases like PostgreSQL.Experience working with Container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts.An eagerness to learn. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.Experience building cloud-based applications (A plus).Schedule This role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week. New York Base Salary Range The expected base salary for this role if located in New York City is between 139,100 - 195,700 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange's incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual.
