This role will be responsible for delivering on GTM audience data monetization strategy, creation and management of sellable digital assets in support of Ad Sales effort, collaborating with Ad-Ops, Product and Technology Teams as well as supporting Western Union internal Enterprise Marketing teams.Role Responsibilities

Focus on the continued implementation of a commercially focused data strategy measured against tangible business outcomes and timeframes.

Further build out critical capabilities within Western Union’s current data function.

Work with the business and Engineering team to understand data and analytical needs and further develop solutions to meet those needs. Implement processes and help to lead change management efforts to enable the organization to operate more efficiently.

Drive data analytics in support of business enablement that captures the value of data as a competitive advantage.

Defines database data capture requirements with cross-functional touch points

External data integrations

Drive data governance processes including accountability for data accuracy, agreeing and instituting data definitions, and documenting data lineage, and implementing data quality rules.

Responsibilities include data collection, analysis, creation of presentations, and addressing questions from members of senior management

Brand mapping/hierarchy, metadata taxonomy, cataloging, and classification

Oversees master data and meta data management

Own and manage the relationship with WU's CDP provider, and its relationships with third party data vendors

Support the team’s high profile client base that includes sales, acquisitions, and strategy teams through data management and storytelling

Accountable for successful trafficking, optimization, and delivery of audience extension campaigns

Educate Account Executives on the evolving landscape of Programmatic and Audience Sales

Lead Marketing’s commitment to “at risk” needs, delivering quality external traffic to meet Advertising’s impression goals

Role Requirements

7+ years in ad product role with technical skillset. Work collaboratively with technology department

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, or a related field

Experience in owning audience segmentations creation and advancement

Knowledgeable about AdTech, MarTech, Programmatic media, digital and omni-channel marketing, and personalization

Exceptional operational skills, including experience in gathering product requirements from sales, ad-ops, tech, legal and other related stakeholders

Experience driving incremental revenue by using 1st party data to target 3rd party inventory

Recent experience in developing business intelligence operations from scratch and overcoming challenges such as data ingestion and normalization in tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio, etc.

Expert consumer of analytical tools and statistical models, with ability to translate into business and go-to-market strategies

High proficiency with GAM/DFP, SSPs (e.g., Google Ad, Index Exchange), Excel, SQL, and data-visualization tools such as Tableau

Working knowledge of DSPs (e.g., DV360, TTD, Criteo)

Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Ownership mindset with propensity for finding unique solutions to business and operational challenges

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to explain technical complexity in a lament term

This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus and Long-term Incentives.
