It is American Express’ marketing services center of excellence with the charter of powering high quality, efficient, user-centric digital marketing experiences that accelerate business growth through optimized enterprise MarTech & MarOps solutions.We are looking for a high performing Manager/Senior Manager, Digital Portfolio Management who has a strong presence and effective communication skills and can juggle multiple workstreams in a cross-functional team. As you will be working on the Martech & Communication Portfolio with a focus on Intake and Prioritization of initiatives across the Marketing, Global Email Marketing, and Enterprise Outbound Ecosystem and capabilities requests from across the enterprise. You will be expected to apply lean portfolio and systems thinking to strategy, investment funding, capacity, reporting and agile operations.The ideal candidate will work to help manage stakeholder relationships by increasing transparency and predictability in capacity and delivery. They will help the team to define and implement strategic outcomes with BU partners and partner effectively across the Marketing Portfolio Team with product, operational, and Engineering Teams to facilitate PI Planning, manage Intake and Prioritization, and track the progress of individual initiatives and the larger Martech & Communication Portfolio - all while maintaining a positive attitude and sense of humour in the face of challenges.Key Responsibilities:

Partner with the Portfolio and Product leads in EDDS and Enterprise Platforms to manage Intake and Prioritization, Planning, and Delivery across the complex Marketing Ecosystem.

Collaborate and partner across ECMX, Technology, and Marketing to ensure ongoing operational and organizational support of key initiatives.

Help to develop and deliver stakeholder communications/communication plans regarding ongoing priorities, statuses, and key decisions requiring alignment to both Internal and External partners.

Drive an improvement in enterprise outcomes and key results by facilitating proper prioritization and accelerating delivery across the Martech & Communication Portfolio.

Demonstrate a willingness to continually learn, challenge the status quo, and implement new or enhanced Product, Execution, and Portfolio Management processes within a dynamic and highly matrixed environment.

The Manager/Senior Manager will:

Help oversee our prioritization process for project intake & delivery to align our efforts with broader blue box initiatives in support of own long-term roadmap. Build & manage relationships with key partners in Marketing, Technology, Product and the LPMs to perform Intake, Prioritization, and Impact Assessment while setting expectations & driving results.

Document current processes to help define the future-state and develop roadmaps by partnering with stakeholders across product platforms and executional teams within the American Express organization.

Proactively drive recurring communications and executive materials on status of ongoing priorities, status, and key messages and decision requiring alignment.

Monitor & track progress of ongoing initiatives within the Portfolio, maintain a ranked initiative backlog, and document best practices to help streamline future efforts in prioritization and communication with internal and external partners.

Synthesize complex ideas and business matters into compelling yet educational presentations for various audiences ranging from tech/product owners to leadership team and decision makers.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years experience working in project, portfolio, product or program management, or operational experience

Experience with enterprise collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, Airtable)

Demonstrated ability to bring organization to multi-layered and complex processes

Demonstrated ability to self-start, carve opportunities out of ambiguity and operate with a high degree of independence.

Experience working with Agile product development methodologies, program and project management

Excellent collaboration and relationship management skills, with experience influencing and coordinating across internal or external partners to deliver business goals

An engaging, resilient, and optimistic spirit.

Knowledge and experience of the marketing processes, common platforms and tools

Experience in developing & analyzing reports for investment planning is a plus.

QualificationsSalary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually bonus benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
