Provide CBTC system technical and practical expertise in support of the work plan for MTA C& D Capital Program Oversight on the MTA C& D CBTC system with respect to budget, schedule and risk.RESPONSIBILITIESReview and constructively comment on MTA C& D CBTC presentation to Capital Program (CPC) and submit IEC reviews on the CBTC program to Office of Capital Oversight (OCO) and CPC. Review and comment on the Technical Specification for the MTA C& D CBTC System. Review and comment on the MTA C& D Network design for the NYCT Subways as it affects the CBTC System. Review and comment on the MTS C& D Radio Communication as it affects the CBTC System. Prepare and present monthly risk log on the CBTC Systems to OCO. Prepare monthly Program Monitoring Report to the IEC Program Director. Meet on a regular basis with various members of the CBTC Teams to discuss specific aspects of the CBTC Systems project. Provide ad hoc technical and practical support to the CBTC System teams in any aspect of the CBTC program. Performs other duties as required by the MTA C& D. PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in System Engineering, Construction Management or related. Advanced degree in Information Technology with an emphasis on signals is a plus. Minimum 25 years of related experience managing projects. Prior experience supporting MTA projects is required. Possess strong verbal, written, presentation and excellent client management skills. Excellent time management skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize competing project obligations. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
