RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is working with a client who is Ranked by Forbes, Deloitte, and Inc. magazine as one of the fastest-growing companies in the nation, we're growing rapidly and looking for innovative problem solvers to join our team. We are in search for a Remote Senior Software Engineer, but you are welcome to work out of the following offices: Ann Arbor, MI, Austin and Fort Worth, Texas and New York.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work with an expansive network of global technology partners, making it possible to reach travelers across the globe and at every stage of their journey. This firm's partners include Google, Facebook, TripAdvisor, and many more. The right candidates for this position are self-motivated problem solvers who can lead technical projects from design, implementation, deployment, and monitoring. They prefer candidates that are backend focused and are language agnostics.

Senior Software Engineer's Essential Duties (Remote):
Work in a collaborative, agile team for a fast-growing company
With your technical expertise, you'll produce organized, clean, and maintainable code
You will develop tools and libraries to expand our automation capabilities
Own product features from concept to deployment
You will be integral in creating software best practices that incorporate new technologies
Be an enforcer of code quality and standards across the team
You will recommend and implement new product features that improve our client experience and performance
Optimize and refactor existing code
Improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability of applications
Ensure business requirements are met through automated tests
You will drive critical engineer led projects
Participate in lively technology discussions where your opinion is truly valued

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science with at least five years working experience on an enterprise-level application
Coding fundamentals with experience in C, C, Golang, or Java, or language agnostic; Golang is not required
Experience working with a large multi-contributor Git repository
Experience working with SQL and No-SQL databases (SQL Server, Postgres, Redis, Aerospike) is a plus
Experience with large scale applications in AWS
Adapt well working with emerging technologies
Strong technical base and innovative mindset
Experience mentoring teammates
Thrive in ever-changing environments
Communicate well with coworkers of all levels

Experience designing and implementing graphQL queries and mutations. Experience writing SQL queries scripts using relational database tool. Experience writing unit test and integration test cases using Mocha. Experience writing CICD pipeline scripts using container orchestration. Experience performing stress testing for web services using devops tools. Experience documenting technical solutions by developing flow charts, diagrams using confluence. Experience implementing second-level in-memory cache using redis. Experience Implementing cron job schedulers using k8s. Experience coding in object-oriented language including JavaScript and typescript. Experience implementing Kafka pipeline to managed events to/from other systems. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.Salary Range: $115,918/year to $216,000/year.
