Meridian Strategies will be gathering signatures for independent nominating petitions to get various political candidates on the ballot.
We are looking for experienced canvassers who are outgoing, personable, and eager to knock doors and street canvass in order to collect signatures.
There will be a paid training session on the day of the first shift. Field shifts will start April 16th and then run everyday up to 7 days a week until May 21st. Canvassers are required to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week. The last day of work is subject to change. On most days, there will be two shifts available depending on the campaign. The first shift will run from 11AM to 4PM and the second shift will run from 4PM to 8PM. Pay will be $30/hour for petitioning shifts.
Requirements:
- Comfortable talking to strangers and knocking on doors
- Proficient in data entry
- Bilingual preferred
- Meet signature quotas
Qualifications:
- Personable, outgoing, can easily talk to strangers
- Can take and follow instructions quickly
- Legible handwriting
