This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on the future of the Amazon vision.As a Software Development Engineer in Sponsored Products at Amazon, you will drive the technical direction of our offerings and solutions, working with many different technologies across theSponsored Products organization. You will design, code, troubleshoot, and support scalable machine learning or data pipelines and online ads serving systems. You will work closely with other engineers and partner scientists, product managers to innovate bespoke shopping experiences on Amazon for different categories, different cohorts of shoppers and under different contexts. 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base pay for this position ranges from $115,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market.   • DUTIES: Develops novel data replication solutions based on the Raft consensus protocol for ensuring automatic failover and zero-downtime of user applications.
