Significant impact on a function and/or the business through making decisions that determine technical approaches and strategies for the area.Team/Role Overview:The Fixed Income Solutions Structuring team is responsible for originating and executing client solutions transactions for clients of Markets. It sits within the Fixed Income Structuring team.This candidate will be involved in originating, developing and executing fixed income solutions transactions, across all types of institutional business mainly focused on North American clients. Transactions are expected to span across a wide swathe of financing and derivative solutions with the primary focus being on the development and execution of securities financing solutions. The candidate will also work collaboratively alongside other structurers in the broader Fixed Income structuring team.The role will involve regular interaction with sales, trading and control teams. A good part of the role involves developing ideas, expanding the boundaries of what is possible through working with trading / sales / control functions. In addition, attention to detail is critical given the focus on understanding complex legal documents.What you’ll do:

Originate transactions through product pitches / marketing to the sales force and clients

Lead approval process of new products and bespoke transactions

Lead execution of mandated transactions

Be an integral member of a team that will generate product ideas

What we’ll need from you:

Prior knowledge of structured financing and derivatives

Experience of solution type trades is key (eg. Structured financing, non-recourse financing, repo to maturity etc)

Familiarity with fixed income markets including public credit and private credit

Familiarity with pricing of structured financing trades, highly competent at using spreadsheets, building tools etc.

Experience of dealing with legal, regulatory and accounting issues (issues, documents, rules, people etc.) is key for this role.

A quantitative degree in e.g. mathematics, economics, physics or computer science is preferred.

Qualifications:

12+ years structuring experience from a financial institution

Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills

Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work with multiple functional groups in a cohesive manner.

Education:

Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
