They are solution oriented and has both breadth and depth of coverage across most digital channels. The VP, Data Science & Analytics candidate has excellent communication skills and can lead a talented team of analytic associates in the execution and delivery of our products and services.ResponsibilitiesData Strategy

Understands how to approach complex problems by outlining several ways to approach the challenges, is able to structure the approach from a cost / benefit perspective and confidently guide a team through execution

Considered a "thought leader" within the Data team and broader region for strategic insight and ability to apply insights to multiple client situations (core client work, BD, etc.)

Considered an SME in multiple areas and can train other team members in these areas

Independently able to drive internal and external stakeholder alignment to drive strategy and meet specific business objectives

Communication Skills

Effectively able to assess and resolve issues, and identify and react to client and internal needs, opportunities, and issues

Commands client audiences and turns presentations into a constructive dialogue that facilitates discussions on improvements / new approaches with a focus on additional opportunities or BD

Recommends and understands various applicable data tools, martech / adtech platforms, and cloud solutions to address and identify both internal and external strategic needs

Understands needs and applications of advanced analytical methods and works with Data Science / Engineering / Instrumentation SMEs to ensure projects are planned and executed correctly

Identifies and evaluates potential vendors and socializes vendors within our capability

Analytics

Planning and Implementation

Understands the potential investments needed or organizational relationships that need to be prioritized to deliver against a data maturity model

Able to get necessary buy-in from stakeholders to effectively measure cross-channel performance

Able to lead requirement gathering workshops with clients and other disciplines

Insight Generation

Able to provide holistic recommendations to clients based on experience to ensure that maturity recommendations are comprehensive and future-focused

Show the ability to develop models proving business value of analytical findings

Maintains high analytical expectations across the team

Qualifications

10-12 years of data and analytics experience

Successfully led large scale and complex marketing analytics engagements

Mastery of the digital analytics space and has innovated to develop new opportunities

Experience working with quantitative and qualitative research data, including social listening

Has demonstrated thought leadership within their organization by becoming a subject matter expert within an analytics environment

Has exhibited strong communication skills and has the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences

Ability to translate findings/results into clear, actionable and executable insights

Exceptional communication and presentation skills; strong business development skills a plus

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting.
