Visual Designer

Description Robert Half is recruiting on behalf of a global e-commerce enterprise seeking a talented, customer-focused Visual Designer to join their in-house advertising team for a five-month contract. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on high-visibility advertising and promotional campaigns that drive brand awareness and engagement on a global scale. As part of the in-house creative team, you will play a key role in crafting visually compelling designs that align with the company’s branding and marketing objectives.Location: New York, NY (hybrid-onsite)Duration: 5-month contractHours: 40 hours/weekPay Rate: $40-46/hourKey Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with the in-house advertising team to design promotional graphics and assets for digital campaigns, ensuring they align with brand standards and resonate with diverse audiences.

Develop and maintain clean, scalable templates and style guides to ensure consistency across all advertising and marketing materials.

Partner with marketing managers, copywriters, and other stakeholders to translate creative briefs into impactful designs that meet business and customer objectives.

Manage a high volume of project requests, balancing creativity with efficiency to deliver high-quality assets under tight deadlines.

Follow established workflows and standard operating procedures to ensure seamless collaboration within the in-house creative studio.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

4+ years of experience in visual design, preferably within digital, advertising, or e-commerce environments.

Proficiency in Figma, PowerPoint, and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

A strong portfolio showcasing diverse designs, including promotional advertising campaigns, with attention to detail and alignment with visual design best practices.

Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams, incorporating feedback from various stakeholders.

Highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable, with strong time management skills to handle multiple priorities.

Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts, Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Familiarity with Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, and Workfront is a plus.

Preferred Skills

Experience designing for in-house advertising teams or global enterprise-level companies.

Knowledge of digital advertising platforms and an understanding of customer engagement strategies.

A passion for creating designs that enhance user experience and tell a story.

Experience with motion graphics or video editing to support dynamic advertising campaigns.
